I went to the Shakespeare festival with the little woman this summer and despite the awful acting and horrific story I actually had a good time. We packed a picnic with white wine chicken, bottle of red wine for obvious ironic reasons, cole slaw and all manner of other picnic amenities. Her friend even brought what I now know to be an Arnold Palmer. Leave it to a guy who walks around on a golf course all day to be the one to think of mixing two drinks in one. Maybe he just got old and lazy. Instead of deciding between two drinks he said surprise me and the bartender was even less imaginative.
But I digress. The reason I bring it up is I pass the theater every day while I work and never saw the inside until recently. It was beautiful. With stadium seating and comfortable chairs it was a far improved way to view theater than those who actually saw the real Shakespeare. The theater was modest outside, but revealed to be cavernous in the interior.
That is when I remembered a review of the new Hyundai Sonata referring to the new interior as cavernous. It’s strange what one thought will lead you too. Originally from Kansas City, Hyundai Sonata would not have been my first choice for a midsized sedan, but recently I’ve come to think differently.
With the same, if not better gas mileage, now larger interior, rising popularity and two thousand dollar smaller price tag than its competitors, the Sonata seems to fit my life quite well now.
Talking with Kansas City Hyundai, Santa Fe Hyundai, and other major locations, I finally picked out the color, the style and the model I wanted. I couldn’t be happier with the choice to roll off the lot with a new Sonata. Hyundai was never even on my radar when it came time to car shop. I was pondering my choice the other day and started laughing at the strange turns life can take. Did Shakespeare’s play writing choose the car I would buy hundreds of years later?
